Appaloosa Stallion for Sale in Dalton, GA

This guy is gorgeous. He's frosted all over, with large spots on the blanket covering his haunches. He has the build of a TB, but is much more calm. Due to the fact that he is grade, with no papers, we're offering him at a cheaper price. I'm training him for dressage and jumping, since I was trained by an Olympic Silver Medalist. He's already been jumping barrels with a foot to spare. His front frame is square, and he's performed piaffes in the field. He's been trained for trails as well, and has been ridden by a young boy for the past few years. He has a beautiful frame and a snaffle mouth.

About Dalton, GA

Woodland Indians and Creek Nation held the area of present-day Dalton, Georgia until the mid-18th century, when the Cherokee pushed the Creek to the west and south. The Cherokee Indians called the mountains of north Georgia their "Enchanted Land" until their forced removal in 1838, in a tragedy known today as the Trail of Tears. By the time the last Cherokees had left, work was underway for a railroad, the Western and Atlantic (W&A), to join the Tennessee River with the Georgia Railroad then under construction. In 1847, Dalton was defined as a mile radius from the city center, the Western and Atlantic Depot. The final segment of this pivotal railway was completed in Tunnel Hill, Whitfield County in 1850.
