Paint Mare for Sale in Durand, MI
Cherry is an exceptional APHA Strawberry roan mare. She will trail ride all day long for the kids with a halter and lead rope or she'll turn on the gas for the more experienced rider. She's trail, road & traffic safe, she crosses water, bridges and has no problems going out alone or with a group. She is sound for riding as well as breeding and has also given us a couple of real big beautiful colts. We are replacing Cherry with some of our younger up and coming stock and would like to sell her to a good home while she is still a good using horse and not all broken down. She's an easy breeder and respects people. Clips, loads, bathes and stands forever in cross ties without becoming impatient. She's kept current on wormings and immunizations, is healthy and ready to be someone's 4- H or Family horse.

Durand was originally called Vernon Center, and under the latter name was platted in 1836 and named from its location in Vernon Township. The present name is for congressman George Durand of Flint, Michigan. Durand was incorporated as a village in 1887 and as a city in 1932.
