Paint Mare for Sale in Orland, CA
PEPPER can be seen on our website. She stands like a statue for the horseshoer, loads, leads. We have owned her for a year, but need to drastically cut down the number of horses we have. This will be her first foal. She was vet confirmed in foal for a March 5, 2004 foal to a grandson of DOC O'LENA & PABLO SAN - - this foal should be worth more than I'm asking for the bred mare! She prefers being out in the field, will NOT do well if stalled all the time. Just think where else can you get a foal with the names of MR GUN SMOKE, DOC O'LENA, LENAS DIAMOND CHEX & PABLO SAN right on the papers? Will sell her with a breeding after she foals to either our APHA Champion or a blk / wh we own, your choice.

About Orland, CA
Orland incorporated in 1909. The first post office in Orland opened in 1916. In 1908 Orland was the namesake of one of the first irrigation projects of the newly formed United States Bureau of Reclamation, the Orland Project, authorized by the Newlands Reclamation Act. The 1910 East Park Dam and other area dams still provide agricultural irrigation water. During World War II, Orland was selected by the United States Army as the location for an airfield that was used for training pilots.
