Standardbred Stallion for Sale in Sacramento, CA
Orion is a 4 year old ex - harness racer with perfect conformation. I got him in November and have worked on training him. He is a black bay with a cute star and two white pasterns. He is very gentle, willing and smart. He got leg cues in one day. He is an easy keeper, the ferrier told me that I don't have to shoe him unless I plan on doing major athletic work. He had a fall on the track and has some minor scaring (it's going away) that ended his racing days. I will not sell him to a person planning on racing. Both the Vet and the Ferrier said that it would not effect his preformance no matter what dicipline I trained him in. My roomate and I were splitting his costs but due to financial changes I am no longer able to keep him.
