Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Sprague River, OR
Muse is a pretty calm horse that has been used as a broodmare for the last three years but was bought by my husband who is a very novice rider and she had not been ridden in a year after her second foal and he just got on, no round pen, and she was great. Just went on down the trail. However, we just sold her last foal and she seems to be needing a bit of a "tune up". She really has been a wonderful mare, but because of a financial situation we must sell her. Good home only. If there are any questions please ask. ~~
About Sprague River, OR
The Sprague River was named for Captain Franklin B. Sprague, who participated in the Snake and Paiute Indian wars, and was in command of Fort Klamath in 1866. His name was applied to the river by 1864, and perhaps earlier. The Klamath name for the stream was Plai or Plaikni Koke. Koke was the generic word for "river" and plai meant the river came from upper or higher country.
