First Sun Rising (Sunny) is a 16 hand chestnut with a big blaze and one white hind sock. He has jumped 3' and is very willing and eager. He has a really soft mouth and a nice, soft canter. Dongola was laid out in 1857 as a stop along the Illinois Central Railroad. A post office known as "Unionville" had been established in 1855, but the name was changed to "Dongola," after Dongola, Sudan.
