Offered for sale at Staten Horsemanship: Bella-2010 sorrel, grade quarter horse mare standing approx 14.2 hands. gentle disposition, sound and nicely built. Trained using Clinton Anderson natural horsemanship techniques, Bella is respectful on the ground and under saddle, stands still to mount/dismount, flexes, neck reins, knows leg cues, haunch and forehand turns, sidepasses and has a great backup. Ride western, english or bareback, shank bit, snaffle bit or halter and lead, she's good with it all. Mainly ridden by a 64 year old woman, used in the arena, lots of trail rides, won prizes at gymkhana and will calmly walk down the road with traffic and barking dogs charging the fence. Bella is an easy keeper, tidy in a stall and easy to catch in turnout, desensitized to many objects, not spooky, no buck or rear, utd on vaccines, dewormer, chiropractic and currently front shod. About Grants Pass, OR

Early Hudson's Bay Company hunters and trappers, following the Siskiyou Trail, passed through the site beginning in the 1820s. In the late 1840s, settlers (mostly American) following the Applegate Trail began traveling through the area on their way to the Willamette Valley. The city states that the name was selected to honor General Ulysses S. Grant's success at Vicksburg. The Grants Pass post office was established on March 22, 1865.
