Standardbred Mare for Sale in Blairsville, PA
Fiona is a an ex-Amish buggy horse we got early this spring as an extra horse for friends to come out and ride, which ended up never happening, but we took her out on several trail rides ourselves and she will go anywhere you point her including crossing creeks, traffic safe. Being a buggy horse she is voice command trained and does not yet understand squeezing or bumping legs but that'll come over time especially if she would get ridden a lot more then here. She is pretty quiet and any advanced beginner should have no problem riding her, did not show any signs of wanting to buck, bolt or rear. Only thing she ever tried was trying to turn back to go home but will listen when told otherwise . There is a lip tattoo but it's hard to read, we estimate her around 18 by her teeth and she stands about 14 3hh. In the pasture she gets along with everybody including minis but is more on the alpha side.
