Mustang Gelding for Sale in Stephenville, TX

REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE Honey Badger. American Mustang, ’12 model, 16HH, Red dun. VideoS: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXGxEKDcxKU6WspD0InlA8D9Tq_7GHYnc This guy is the coolest dude you’re going to come across. He’s not going to win you the 1D in barrels or take you to the NFR, but he’s for sure going to be the horse you can’t forget. Badger is the definition of bombproof. He’s worked at a bull riding rodeo directing traffic AS A 2-YEAR-OLD, and he did wonderful. Even tried to eat my orange flag. Prior to that, he performed completely at liberty in a closed coliseum in front of more than 2,000 people at the Mustang Million finals in 2013, and rocked the show with a total winnings of $5,550. He bows, plays dead, gives you his hoof on command, and does ground work and saddle work beautifully. You probably noticed I sold him a while back, so why is he back for sale? He’s so bombproof, he was sold to be a mounted shooting horse in California, but didn’t make the cut because he didn’t have quite enough get up and go, so he got sent back to Texas. They also started him in some beginning fundamentals of western pleasure, which he did much better at (it was more his speed). Why didn’t they sell him in Cali? His trainer/consigner has had personal circumstances forcing her to take some time off from horsework. He’ll go when you want him to, but he won’t just take off without your acknowledgement. Swing a rope, carry a flag, pop balloons in saddle at any speed, maybe send your kid through some barrel patterns, the possibilities are endless! (Minus the NFR or competitive mounted shooting). Personally, I think a lesson horse or family horse would be a great fit for this guy; and at only 5 years old, he has a lifetime to give. Tell you what, since I do all my own horses feet, if he lives within an hour of his current location in Stephenville, TX, I’ll give you 5 free trims (a $200 value!). Come out and see him, you won’t be disappointed. No holds without a down payment – contact me for details, any other questions, or to come see him! $8,500. www.facebook.com/horsenaroun

About Stephenville, TX

Stephenville is named after John M. Stephen, who settled there in 1854, and donated the land for the townsite laid out by George B. Erath when the county was organized in 1856. In the first two years of its settlement, the townsite was successful; by 1858, the population reached 776. However, the townsite was located in Comanche territory and raids were common.
