Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Madras, OR

Foxy is everything a 3 year old ought to be.. Quiet, balanced, confident, beautiful and well mannered. Not much of anything bothers her. You show her what you want and she will do it. Her 2nd time off the farm(this summer)I entered her in a trail challenge show,She crossed bridges, drug tires, opened gates and mail boxes, went over logs ect.. She is still green.. as she is only 3 and don't want to over due it at a young age. She has been on trails and some arena riding. Foxy is an easy keeper and easy to be around. I own her mom, all her babies have been nice big and level headed. she walks trots and canters and is ready for someone to take her and finish her the way they desire in any discipline. She has not been pushed as I want her to mature and grow, so she is still green but well started with a solid mind and willing eager to please. She walks trots canters backs and moves off your leg. She has been a very EASY youngster to start as she has never offered to buck or be goofy she just goes with the flow. would be a great mare to add to breeding program too. She is VERY laid back (kind of lazy) but will get up and go when asked. She trailers\backs out, Ties, bathes, clips, blankets, good with farrier, I tack her up with out being tied, just park her next to tack room, tack up and go. She is current on vaccines and dewormer. She just had her teeth done and her trimmed up for the winter. A good home is a MUST! Please message for more info or pics

About Madras, OR

The original plat for Madras was filed on July 18, 1902, by Scandinavian immigrant John A. Palmehm, for whom the town was originally named "Palmain". The name was rejected by the U.S. Postal Service over its similarity to a post office named Parmen, and the name "Madras" was adopted, inspired by the cloth fabric of the same name, itself named for the city of Madras (now Chennai) in India. Madras was incorporated as a city in 1911.
