Proudly offered for sale is a coming-9 year old warmblood gelding, suitable for jumpers, equitation, and dressage. Capetown, known as “Simon,” is by the Selle Francais stallion Jamestown and out of a wonderful Irish mare. Jamestown is by Quidam de Revel, whose line has multiple proven, outstanding jumpers through 1.6m. Simon’s dam competed successfully at 1.35m and has produced very talented, “bomb-proof” amateur-friendly mounts. Simon is extremely brave over fences with tons of scope, and is an uncomplicated, forgiving ride. He has USEF show experience at 1m, 1.1m, and 1.15m with schooling experience through 1.3m; Simon would make a wonderful Child/Adult Jumper, Amateur/Owner or Junior Jumper. With a soft mouth and willing attitude, he could cross over to equitation medals, and would make an excellent dressage mount as well. Simon is just as easy on the ground as he is under saddle: stands for farrier, vet, bathing, clipping, etc., is very friendly, and is always the barn favorite. This guy is an absolute gem and is a dream mount for any amateur, junior, or up-and-coming pro!
