6 Year OLD 15.1 Hand Palomino Gelding

Cupid is an attractive well-bred 6 year old 15.1 hand palomino gelding with good foot and bone. Some of his lineage includes great horses like Sunfrost and Gay Bar king. Always gentle yet handy with a great one hand neck rein. He moves off leg cues and is responsive and fun to ride. Collects up nice with an easy to sit trot and will lope out on cue and do perfect flying lead changes every time in both directions. Has a good turn around, good stop and backs soft and easy. You will never have to dismount to open or close a gate. Very sure footed and dependable to ride out. Crosses the river, downed timber or anything else we ask of him. He has a brisk comfortable working ranch horse walk and will usually end up in the lead but will respectfully stay behind if you choose. Rides out good in large groups or alone. He handles the steep rocky terrain like a seasoned horse should. This horse is also good to ride in busy urban environments. Busy streets with all the usual commotion are just fine with him. From the occasional charging barking dogs to the fast moving vehicles it is no problem. Cupid has been used extensively on the ranch for all the ranch chores. He is handy on cattle and would make a great sorting horse. Cupid is also well started as a head horse if one so chooses. This is a friendly good natured and versatile gelding with a bright future ahead of him with un limited potential.
