Palomino Mare for Sale in Philomath, OR
5 year old Palomino Paint Mare not reg. Lady just finished a 30 day "Tune Up" with a very good local trainer. Loves to trail ride. Has been on a poker run and a 5 hour trail ride this summer (among other rides) and loved them both. Not spooky. Will respond to leg comands. UTD on all shots including WNV. Just had front shoes put on (stood quietly) . Loads (in a 2 horse trailer) ties / bathes great (not thrilled with cold water) but will behave. Very sweet.

Philomath was named after the Philomath College that was founded in 1867 by the United Brethren Church. The name of the college and city was derived from two Greek words meaning "lover of learning". The city was incorporated on October 20, 1882. The college closed in 1929 due to a dramatic decline in enrollment.
