"Ozzie" is a wonderful horse. He is so calm and willing. Learns incrediably fast. In Hunter Under Saddle training right now. He loves to go trail riding! Through water, over bridges, etc. ! Would excel with an intermediate / experienced rider, but calm and forgiving enough for a confident beginner w / a trainer. He will make a TOP dressage horse with the right person. He has a very natural hind end suspension, and he collects nicely, sidepasses, backs, etc. !Very very sweet and an "in your pocket" type horse. Always wants to please. YOu would never know he was a Thoroughbred! The only reason I'm selling him is because I'm switching to barrel racing and I can only have 1 horse. This is a one in a million horse. About Sumner, WA
Sumner was founded in 1853 as Stuck Junction and platted in 1883 by George H. Ryan, in anticipation of a stop on the Northern Pacific Railway. The town was named "Franklin" until 1891, when the Post Office Department requested that the name be changed to avoid confusion with similarly named towns. The name of abolitionist Senator Charles Sumner was chosen for the town after a lottery.
