Socrates has light, forward movement& 3 ex. ground covering gaits. He easily does walk - canter transitions, leg yields, good lateral movement, correct leads, & single lead changes. Light & balanced in loose ring snaffle. Could go far in hunters, dressage, eventing, etc. Competed at three schooling shows with good ribbons at each. Excellent ground manners, cooperatively leads, clips, ties, trailers, cross ties, and vacuums. Privately raised with much TLC and careful, progressive training. Scorates has very correct conformation and soundness. From proven bloodlines. His dam competed at training level jumpers on the A tour in California and Arizona at 3'6" to 3'9" His sire was a successful Junior Jumper with Butch and Lou Thomas in California. We seek a loving home that will take Scotty on to fulfill his potential. He is currently suitable for amateur or junior rider with trainer assistance and coaching. Needs further show miles to be consistently competitive.
