Old - style quarter horse, very athletic and blocky. He is calm in all situations and takes his time to weigh his options when presented with something new and challenging. Stands quietly while rider gets on and is willing to walk or get it going when the rider asks. This is a beautifully built and easy to ride horse who is more than willing to please. He resides in a pasture with other horses and is not a dominant horse but is more of a joker than timid. He ponies well. Easy to catch while loose and needs no treats for reward. This is a people - pleaser guy who steals one's heart. He is out of the well - known Shugar Cat , out of Sugar Bars, out of Three Bars. Being ridden regularly and can accomodate a prospective rider at any time. Completely sound, good feet and easy to shoe.
About Sequim, WA
Sequim is home to a herd of Roosevelt elk. The herd occasionally crosses US 101 just to the southeast of the town. Radio collars on some members of the herd trigger warning lights for motorists. Over the past two decades, Sequim has become known for growing lavender and holds the annual Sequim Lavender Weekend (the third weekend in July). The Museum and Arts Center features both natural and cultural exhibits, including a mastodon mural mounted with the remaining mastodon bones, artifacts, and a video on the excavation.
