RCCR Double Down is a registered Half Arabian gelding (1A 341928) , is eligible to be registered NSH, and is in Breeders Sweepstakes. He is a tall and very elegant horse, leggy and long necked with a great disposition. He has the look of an Arabian and the size and motion of the Saddlebred. RCCR Double Down is by the beautiful black stallion Double Tstandard, a KRA Duel Standard son, many time halter and English pleasure Champion, and out of a champion producing Saddlebred mare. The sire line is Polish and Crabbet, and the dam is Wing Commander and Genius Bourbon King breeding. He should reach close to 16 hands at maturity. He clips, bathes, stands tied, and is easy to handle as well as to train. He is priced low as we are trying to reduce our herd before winter.
About Terrell, TX
Terrell developed as a railroad town, beginning in 1873 with construction here of the Texas and Pacific Railroad line. The town was named for Robert A. Terrell, a pioneer European-American settler whose farm lay on its western edge. He built an octagonal house on his property, called a "Round House", to provide better defense against attacks by Native Americans. They had occupied this territory for thousands of years.
