Appendix Stallion for Sale in Philomath, OR
This horse is a big beautiful appendix quarter horse. He has been shown dressage and hunters and done great, but please no serious jumping inquiries, he does not like jumping much. He has also been trained in Natural Horsemanship for a while. He loves trail rides and is great on trails. He has the build and athleticism to do anything you want. He is a sweet horse but needs at least an intermeditate rider. He has never had any lameness or health problems. I am in college and don't have much time for him so I must sell him.

Philomath was named after the Philomath College that was founded in 1867 by the United Brethren Church. The name of the college and city was derived from two Greek words meaning "lover of learning". The city was incorporated on October 20, 1882. The college closed in 1929 due to a dramatic decline in enrollment.
