Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Delavan, WI
5 yr old QH mare. Don't have enough time for her as I have 2 others to ride. She is very sweet! She was born with a cataract in her left eye, but that hasn't affected her riding or training. Used on trail rides and has been on a wagon train. To loving home / owner only. I have taken her to a couple training weekends in the past. I love her dearly but can't find the time to ride her. Delavan sits in the middle of what was once an inland sea. During the last Ice Age, the final glaciation, named the Michigan tongue, covered this region. The Michigan tongue descended along the area of Lake Michigan. The "Delavan lobe" of this glacier broke off, pushing southwest into the area of Walworth County. The first humans known to inhabit the Delavan area were Native Americans around 1000 BCE.
