Appendix Mare for Sale in Redwood Valley, CA
Gettin Gussied Up or Nikita is a very sweet bright and cooroperative appendix QH (mostly thoroughbred) mare. She's had basic dressage training and moves off the leg very well. Started working on shoulder in and leg yeilds and will be starting on haunches in and turns on hindend / forehand very shortly. She's also had a lot of trail experience and doesn't spook easily. Would make a great english or western horse and could easily do anthing from dressage eventing hunters to reining cutting or trails. About Redwood Valley, CA
The place was called Basil by the railroad when it reached there; when the post office opened in 1920, the place was called Redwood Valley. One of the more dubious distinctions awarded Redwood Valley is it being the home of Jim Jones' Peoples Temple cult for a short time. The site was chosen because Jones believed that it was one of the few places in the world likely to survive a nuclear holocaust. This was one of the areas where Black Bart operated.
