Shaking Bucks, affectionately known around the barn as Buck, is a 2019 model buckskin tobiano registered TWH gelding. He stands 15.1hh and is a solid mount. Buck has a smooth, comfortable saddle gait and can cover some beautiful country. While his gait is nice, he is perfectly happy to just walk along. In my opinion, his loving personality, calm demeanor, and easy handle make him suitable for most riders. Buck was foaled on March 28, 2019. He is currently seven years old. He is a great age, old enough to have mileage and experience, yet young enough to have many good years left to enjoy. Buck is a nice ride, solid, safe, and smooth! Buck is an experienced trail horse who has seen all kinds of trails. He’s been one of our personal trail horses this fall, and he’s done a great job and been a pleasure to have. I have taken him on many day rides, night rides, and a week at Honey Creek Horse Camp earlier this fall. I’ve ridden him through Daniel Boone National Forest, Big South Fork, and several other trails. Buck has proven steady and reliable, even in challenging terrain. Buck has faced most trail obstacles you can imagine. He maneuvers carefully through steep, rocky, tight terrain. He willingly crosses mud puddles, creeks, logs, rocks, bridges, etc. He has also encountered wildlife on the trail, such as deer and squirrels. We have ridden him locally and hauled him to ride.
