Name: UC Deja Vu
Breed: Morgan
Registration: AMHA
Age: 2023
Gender: Mare
Color: Bay
Height: 15hh; expected ~15.2hh
Notes: UC Déjà vu, “Deja,” is a 2023,15hh (expected to mature to ~15.2hh), bay Morgan mare out of UC Jubilee (UVM Jubilant x SMP Main Topic) by Battersea Xanadu (Chief of State x Battersea Ouida). Her sire, Battersea Xanadu is known for his trainability and gentle demeanor, as well as his correct conformation and powerful build. Xanadu’s impressive cross of Government and Lippitt lines has led him to sire multiple quality foals with promising careers in the Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Western Pleasure show rings. Deja’s dam, Jubilee, consistently passes her outstanding breeding, intelligence and naturally rhythmic gaits onto her foals. One of Jubilee’s oldest foals, a 2022 filly, UC Cue the Music, has shown promise in multiple disciplines with great success at the 2025 & 2026 Grand Nation & World Championship Morgan Horse Shows. Deja is sure to follow in her siblings' footsteps because of her trainability, typey look, and willing nature. She lunges confidently with tack, has been introduced to long lines, has been sat on, and will continue all her training until she is sold. Deja ties, loads, stands for the farrier and vet, and has begun to accept clippers and bathing. She is an incredibly curious responsive mare with a showy personality. She will thrive in a home with an experienced rider and trainer to help bring her along. Deja would make an incredible hunter or dressage prospect, but she truly has the potential to go in any direction. Deja is current on all vaccinations, deworming, and Coggins.
