Reiner Quarter Horse

Near Guelph, Ontario. For your consideration is a beautiful 2016 born ORHA registered gelding “Obie”. He stands a stout 15hh+ and is sound, up to date on his shots, teeth and shoes. He is reining and cutting bred and is a registered American Quarter Horse. Obie has been owned from birth and has been carefully trained as a Reiner. He was deeply loved by his owner, Liz. That chapter in Obie’s life has come to an end and he needs a new loving owner. An owner interested in harvesting the depth of the training already in place. An owner that will continue to love and care for Obie, as Liz would. Obie is well trained in all Reining maneuvers and moves well off the leg, with very good spins, and excellent stops and backup. Liz competed with Obie at several ORHA Reining shows, at various non-professional levels. Although they did very well (and they were very competitive) at these shows, it was more about the friendships and fun than anything else. Obie is comfortable hauling and boards well. He is easy to catch, ties, bathes, brush and lead. He is an easy keeper with no maintenance or stable vices. Obie is ready for that next adventure.
