Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Lamoni, IA

Cisco is an 11-year-old, 15-hand Tennessee Walking Horse who is an extremely nice, well-rounded horse that truly can do it all. He was a true woman’s horse-gentle, dependable, and easy to handle and ride. Unfortunately, Cisco’s owner passed away unexpectedly, which is the reason he is being offered for sale. We are looking for the right home where Cisco will continue to be appreciated and enjoyed. Cisco will park out with just a snap of your fingers, and he is gentle and easy enough for anyone to ride. He has traveled all over the United States as a field trial horse, where he has been used for handling, scouting, judging, and working in the gallery. He is also excellent around dogs. Cisco has experience in parades, riding lessons, and a wide range of environments. He is dependable, sure-footed, and rarely makes mistakes. He carries himself beautifully and is a horse you can confidently ride with two fingers. His transitions are one of his best qualities. Cisco has a smooth, effortless transition from a lope to a walk, and he has one of the nicest, shortest lopes you will find. His way of going is comfortable, controlled, and enjoyable. Cisco also has excellent feet and stands great for the farrier. He is easy to catch, ties well, stalls without a problem, and loads and unloads like a champion. He is exceptionally easy to load and is great to handle in every way. Cisco is the kind of horse that makes his owner proud. With his experience, gentle nature, smooth gaits, sure-footedness, and willingness to please, he would be a great fit for anyone looking for a truly versatile, dependable horse. Cisco will make his next owner proud. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 10/21 @ 4:40 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.

About Lamoni, IA

The Lamoni area was first settled in 1834 to 1840 by people who thought they were settling in slave-owning Missouri. It was only after the Sullivan Line separating Missouri and Iowa was formally surveyed when Iowa became a state in 1846 that they realized they were in non-slave-owning Iowa. In 1851, refugees from the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 sought to settle the area and form the community of New Buda (named for a neighborhood of Budapest). However, their efforts did not result in a significant settlement. In 1870, Joseph Smith III authorized the Order of Enoch to purchase over three thousand acres (12 km²) to form a community of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS Church).
