Meet JJ! 🐴 JJ is a beautiful 5-year-old bay racking gelding, standing a solid 15 hands with a nice, stocky build. This is a big, handsome gelding with a great mind and a personality to match! JJ is an excellent trail horse and has been ridden all over Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama. He will confidently ride anywhere in a group—front, middle, or back—and will go wherever you point him. He crosses creeks, logs, and rough terrain with ease. Whether you want to take him out for a long trail ride or simply enjoy a quiet ride, JJ is happy to do his job. His racking gait is smooth as ice. He is not a speed demon, but he will cover some ground when asked. If you enjoy picking up the pace, JJ can have some fun and stretch his legs, but he is just as content to walk along and enjoy the scenery. JJ is traffic safe, carries a flag well, and has been exposed to a variety of different environments. He stands quietly to mount and dismount, stands for baths and the farrier, loads and unloads, and will pick up all four feet with ease. One of JJ’s best qualities is his levelheaded, willing nature. He is a big baby who absolutely loves attention and treats. He is easy to catch—turn him out in the field and he will often come right to you. He is the kind of horse that enjoys being around people and wants to please. JJ is a fun, willing, smooth-gaited gelding with plenty of trail experience and a great attitude.
