You can sit back, relax, and enjoy your ride. Forrest is a 3.5-year-old Gypsy x Percheron x Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.3 hands high. If I could keep one horse in my barn forever, it’s him. He’s smooth and comfortable. He’s brave and sure-footed. He is the same horse every ride, and he makes you feel safe in the saddle. Forrest is set up for success in any direction. Whether you plan to show, trail ride, hunt, or work on the ranch, Forrest has the exposure and foundation to succeed anywhere he goes! He will age like a fine wine. With his quiet nature and brave mind, you will not find a horse you’ll love riding more than Forrest. In the ring, Forrest has three easy-to-sit gaits. He’s an easy ride that is just the right mix of whoa and go. Everywhere I’ve taken him, he gets compliments. New indoors and new places are no problem for him. He rides off just like he’s at home. He is such a quiet and good-minded young horse; he has the brain and foundation to be successful anywhere. He has been ridden both English and Western, and would make a fantastic Western dressage, dressage, or working equitation mount. Outside of the arena, Forrest is the best of the best. Nothing fazes him. He is sometimes the youngest horse out on a ride and is still the one bravely leading horses 3 times his age through water, over bridges, and around obstacles. I’m not sure there’s another horse quite as easygoing as he is when it comes to hitting the trails. Beginners, timid amateurs, and everyone in between have ridden and loved him. He is SAFE in every way. Let your reins loose and enjoy your ride. In the barn, Forrest is polite and easy to get along with. He stands well for grooming, bathing, the vet, and farrier. He loves attention and very much enjoys bonding with his person. He’s the intuitive kind that quickly picks up trick training and fun things like that.
