Meet Rue a stunning 8 year old red roan Tobiano gaited paint mare, standing at 15.3 hands tall. She is very well put together and offers an incredibly smooth ride. I’ve never ridden a horse that is so smooth. Rue is a fantastic trail horse navigating any terrain with ease, making her the perfect addition to any family looking for a reliable and beautiful companion on the trails. We have had her all over Colorado in the Rocky Mountains and through downtown Fort Collins. She is traffic safe and is accustomed to wildlife, bikes, quads and even river floaties. She rides double, bareback, and in a snaffle or a shank. She crosses tarps, packs a flag and isn’t worried about desensitization tools. She crosses anything without a second thought and is no stranger to water, down logs, bridges and thick brush. She is WONDERFUL in the mountains and is used to seeing wildlife as well. She can go all day long and has been on long mountain rides. She comes when you call her name and is easy for the farrier, loads right in the trailer and stands quietly for the vet.
