He has been on several long trail rides and is a dependable, enjoyable trail partner. Pete has also been used to gather and move cattle. Pete is good around dogs, stands quietly to be saddled and shod, and patiently waits to be mounted. He has an “in-your-pocket” personality and loves attention, making him a pleasure to have around both on and off the trail. Under saddle, Pete side-passes with leg pressure and backs nicely. He rides well both alone and in a group. In a small group, he prefers to be out front, but he is happy to ride wherever you place him.
