Miniature Gelding for Sale in Fort Collins, CO

The COOLEST pony ever, Batman, or as some of the kids call him, Frodo, is a 4-year-old pony gelding who may be small in stature, but he has a whole lot of try packed into one adorable package! He is a good size for very young kids and can also be ridden by older kids! The girl riding him in some of the pictures is 14 years old. Frodo already knows his way around the gymkhana events and loves having a job. He has been to multiple shows with the kids and won ribbons. He’s athletic, willing, and ready to keep learning with his next young rider. But when it’s time to leave the arena, Frodo is just as happy to hit the trail and take things at a quieter pace. He crosses water, is traffic-safe, and crosses whatever you point his little legs at, as long as he can step over it. He rides English and western. He is completely SAFE no matter how much time you give him off, just saddle and go. Most importantly, Frodo LOVES kids! He has that special personality that makes kids want to spend all day grooming, riding, and hanging out with him. They taught him how to smile on command in like 10 minutes because he is so smart. Frodo is up to date on all health aspects, is barefoot, and has NO health issues. He has never foundered and is an easy keeper. He gets along well with our other mini and is easy to catch and handle. Good for the farrier and stands great for the vet! Whether your little rider dreams of showing, trail adventures, or simply having their very own pony best friend, Frodo is ready to be part of the fun. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 09/09 @ 5:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
