Mule Mare for Sale in Mount Vernon, KY
Meet Lucy! Lucy is an 11-year-old, 14.2-hand Molly mule with all the good qualities you could ever ask for in a mule. She is the kind you can enjoy yourself but also trust enough to put a friend or family member on and feel confident they’ll be taken care of.
Lucy has been my go-to when friends come over wanting to ride. She is dependable and sensible, and she takes care of her rider, making her a great option for a wide variety of riders. She has a level head, doesn’t get easily spooked, and handles new situations with confidence. Lucy has a good stop and is traffic safe, making her enjoyable whether you’re riding down the road, around the farm, or out on the trails.
I’ve enjoyed taking Lucy along on family camping trips and trail rides, where she handles the trails with ease and goes wherever she is asked. She has also been used to check cattle and has been hauled to some fun shows, giving her experience in several different environments. She is comfortable riding out and doesn’t get worked up when things are going on around her.
Lucy is easy to have around and has great ground manners. She stands to be bathed, loads and ties, and picks up all four feet. She is good about having her ears handled and will let you rub all over them. She is pleasant to catch, saddle, and spend time with.
Whether you’re looking for a dependable trail partner, something to take camping, a mule to use around the farm, or simply a trustworthy mount to enjoy, Lucy checks a lot of boxes. She has the experience, good mind, and dependable nature that everyone looks for in a mule. Come check her out yourself; you won’t regret it!
