This is Callie, a 12 year old  ranch branded DUN quarter horse mare standing 14.3 hands. She is calm,  gentle, and has a very affectionate personality. Callie has been rode by beginners and is an absolute insurance policy. She knows her job, knows nothing is worth fretting over, and is comfortable plodding along the trail or wherever you point her. She is comfortable riding alone outside or in the arena. She has an easy to sit jog, lopes right off and rides with a nice and supple neck rein. Callie is FORGIVING in every way that counts. Absolutely no spook with tarps, traffic, wildlife on the trail or the chaos of children and farm machinery at home. On the ground she is respectful of your space and patient with the kids still learning their confidence. Callie is one I would easily trust novice riders to learn the fundamentals with, along with being  skilled and broke enough to be a great step up Four H / fun show horse. She is great in a mixed herd, catches you in the field and is great for the farrier. Callie is 100% sound and pre purchase exams are always welcome.  4,xxx obo.
