Grulla Quarter Horse Mare

Lily is a once-in-a-lifetime horse. She is so sweet and gentle. She absolutely loves children. She is the type of horse that you can stick any child on, grandmother on, or any beginner on. She is easy to catch, haul, bathe, spray with fly spray and tack. She loads in any trailer great and unloads with ease as she backs off on command. She stands tied quietly without pawing or fidgeting. She stands to tack up and mount, either from the ground or from a mounting block. Lily loves attention. She really enjoys being groomed and all the attention she gets. She is a wonderful trail partner and friend. Lily is a lot of fun to ride. She’s very well behaved. Tack up, Step on, and sit back and enjoy the ride. She is such a babysitter. My eight-year-old son rides her everywhere we go. She is his go-to girl. He has ridden her on several camping trips and day rides. She will take care of her rider. She is suitable for riders of any level. She is one for everyone to enjoy. Out on the trails, Lily will lead the group, ride in the middle, or follow behind. She doesn’t mind being crowded by other horses. Lily is not buddy or barn sour. She will ride out by herself. She is very quiet and doesn’t care where the other horses are. Lily follows a trail perfectly, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the scenery. She crosses timber, ditches/ravines, and loves the water! She navigates the hills with ease. Lily has tons of exposure to dogs, wildlife, farm equipment, heavy traffic, etc. She is not spooky to any of it. She packs any-size saddlebags and even rides double. She will walk the trails on a relaxed rein. She has a cute soft trot and will canter when asked. Lily is also desensitized to city life. She is totally unfazed by traffic. She rides through commotion with ease. She rides paved and gravel roads. She has been hauled to campgrounds, stalls great. She eats and drinks well when traveling. She’s our water bug all the way around. She doesn’t mind the chaos at campgrounds. We took her for the 4th of July weekend, and my son rode her the whole weekend with lots of celebrations all around.
