Handy Broke Gelding

This is Chester, an 11 year old ranch branded sorrel gelding standing 15.1 hands. His personality closely resembles the kid at school that has always just been happy to be included 🤣. He’s the true definition of a happy go lucky gelding - not a worry in the world! He spent several years ranching in the Texas panhandle and has been used as a turn back horse in several cutting operations. Chester has a lengthy resume- and is ready to add to it! He rides with a handy neck rein, one step short lope, turns around nicely and is pretty savvy in the arena. My fiance has used him to catch loose cattle and he will last all day! He’ll collect his headset , move off leg pressure, sidepass to use the mounting block or to open gates as well. Outside , Chester is just as docile- he trail rides on a loose rein, is traffic safe and will go anywhere he is pointed whether it’s a chest deep creek or a steep hill! On the ground he’s like a puppy wanting affection and has a huge personality. This is a special gelding who would make a great addition to either a performance home or someone wanting a stout to the horn, reliable horse to enjoy. 6,xxx obo.
