Chestnut Quarter Pony Mare

Cherry is an 8-year-old quarter mare who has done it all! At 13.3 hands tall, she is the perfect size! Big enough for a small adult, small enough for the kids. In the 2 years she has lived on our farm, she has been one of our favorite kids, trail horses, and lesson ponies. We have hauled her to trail rides and camp all over. She has also done a bit of calf roping and cruised cattle. She will get you down the trail, and she doesn’t spook at tarps, deer, dogs, bicycles, ATVs, or difficult terrain. She is accustomed to riding out with our pack of dogs, jumping in and out of the brush. She is traffic safe and confident. The kids have played on the barrels and poles a bit with her, and we have hauled her to rodeos to see the sights. She drives as well, but we don’t have the equipment. She hops right on a trailer and backs off. She stands nicely for the farrier, is easy to catch, sound, and healthy. She has excellent feet. Up to date on dental work, hoof trims, and all care.
