He is a very smart and willing horse that is always eager to please. Diego has been hauled all over Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama for camping and trail riding. He is very sweet, loves people, and always respects your space. He is easy to clip, bathe, and groom, and he will meet you in the pasture with no chasing or teasing required. Diego has excellent ground manners and stands perfectly tied. He is great in cross ties and on the picket line. He stands dead still to be mounted and dismounted and will even sidestep over to a mounting block to make getting on easier. On the trail, Diego is an excellent partner that will go wherever you point him. He rides well anywhere in a group and is just as comfortable riding out alone. He is not spooky or reactive and handles new situations with confidence. Traffic, heavy machinery, farm equipment, deer, turkeys, and other wildlife do not bother him. He is also comfortable around all types of livestock. Diego is very naturally gaited and exceptionally smooth to ride. He is truly a Cadillac on the trail.
