Tennessee Walking Mare for Sale in Park Hills, MO

Introducing Penny, a stunning 4-year-old red roan Tennessee Walker mare standing 14.3 hands tall. With her stylish gait, eye-catching color, and training, Penny is a total package. Under saddle and on the ground, Penny is the definition of well-trained and has a willing demeanor. She side passes to the mounting block, parks out, and lowers her head for bridling. She is a barn favorite to ride and handle. Penny is a confident and dependable ride. She crosses water, mud, and ditches without hesitation and is unfazed by heavy traffic, wildlife, and dogs. Whether riding out alone or in a group, she remains calm, steady, and enjoyable. On the ground, Penny’s manners are second to none. She stands quietly for clipping, mounting, the farrier, and bathing. If you are looking for a great trail partner with a solid foundation and excellent temperament, Penny is one you won’t want to pass up. Please call/text for all inquiries. About Park Hills, MO

The city was formed in an unusual four-way merger that took place in January 1994, in which the cities of Flat River, Elvins, Esther and the village of Rivermines joined to form the new city of Park Hills. The formerly incorporated village of Fairview Acres had previously merged with Flat River on November 8, 1983. The name of the new city was selected by entries submitted to a committee made up of citizens of the four cities. The name Park Hills was submitted by Mildred Lee, a lifelong resident and a former teacher of Flat River. The inspiration came from its hilly terrain in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and the many parks that surround the area.
