Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Walkerton, IN
Meet Oakley- a stunning 5 year old grade red dun mare who is as gorgeous as they come. We have owned her since she’s been a yearling- she’s been taken great care of and is current on all cares. Oakley has always had her teeth floated once. A year, trimmed every 8 weeks, dewormed every 3 months (rotational) and kept up with on routine vaccines! This mare has all of the potential in the world to succeed in several different aspects. She has had inconsistent training since she’s been a 2 year old and is very responsive and broke in the bridle and body. She will collect up in the face, bends at the poll, side pass and pivot correctly. Oakley will walk, trot, and canter circles in the arena and stop off your seat. We started her slowly and correctly- and we’ve exposed her to many situations outside of the arena as well. I’ve trail rode her extensively both at the local parks and down the road in town. My fiance has used her to catch loose cattle as well and has roped off of her. She’s traffic safe, will swim in the lake or walk through any puddle. This girl has never refused a hill too steep or a down tree across the trail. She is respectful and calm on the ground and stands like a statue while you use your mounting block. Oakley is a great mare who would make a phenomenal leisure horse or is classy enough to win at a show! This is a phenomenal horse we are proud to offer to the public. Oakley is 100% sound and all vet checks are welcome! She’s Located in Walkerton IN, but we can helping arrange shipping anywhere! 5,xxx obo.
