Jaxon is an 8 yo Registered Blue Roan Tennessee Walking Horse that stands at 16.1 hh. Jaxon has been from Florida to Ohio camping at several different horse camps. He’s a perfect gentleman no matter the day or time, he will stay quietly on a tie line or in a stall, in back of a horse trailer or tied to a hitching post. He’s a very loving and sweet boy. He has been part of my life since he was 2 years old and there’s nothing in this world that I can say bad about Jaxon. He’s the first to meet you at the gate and loves to go, and no matter who his passenger is, he’s always a perfect gentleman. Jaxon has carried me thru some of the roughest terrain and across some of the deepest rivers in Kentucky and has never failed to keep me or any of his passengers safe from harm. Jaxon is a true Gem and whoever ends up with my friend, well let’s just say that you have just meet your next best friend. This loving fella has helped me thru some of life’s worst moments and for that, I’ll be forever thankful. I could talk all day and tell you what a great horse, friend and trail partners that Jaxon has been, but the only way to know the truth about this big fella is to come spend a day or three with him and see for yourself. He goes in the direction that you ask of him and without any fuss. As you can see in the videos, nothing bothers him or spooks him. He will take his time when it comes to crossing logs or climbing steep terrain. If you point him towards a log or something that he has never crossed, he will stop and observe everything so that he can find the safest way to cross to keep his passenger safe. I can go on and on, but I don’t have the time to sit and tell you all the good in this horse, and I don’t have any bad things to say about him, but he is a horse and there’s no guarantee that he’s not going to make a mistake along the way. There’s no such thing as a perfect horse or a horse that doesn’t make mistakes, they have days just like we do and if you have been around them long enough, you will recognize a bad day thru their actions and make the right choice to ride or not ride on that day. Jaxon has not been in any shows or been trained to do so, he’s been my trail horse and camping buddy. I have worked with him on neck reigniting, and he does very well with that. I’ve started working with him on side passing and he was starting to catch on pretty quick, but he’s going to need some more work to get him where he needs to be on that.
