Paint Draft X Mare

Sage is a 7-year-old draft cross that has been ridden primarily as a mountain trail horse. This mare can go all day, is one of the most sure-footed critters I have had the pleasure of riding. She is easy to catch, hauls great, stands tied, and tacks right up. Sage can pony or be ponied; she crosses water, bridges, and obstacles with ease. She is not spooky or reactive. She is lazy in the arena but has a nice, steady pace out of the trail. She is one of those horses that stays at a healthy weight with ease; she has never been sick or lame.
