Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Walkerton, IN
This is Hattie- she is a very willing and very broke black quarter horse mare. She is 6 years old and 15 hands tall. We have thoroughly enjoyed this mare being in our barn! Hattie is a dream to trail ride and is very arena savvy as well. We have taken her overnight camping and she was phenomenal. Hauls and loads well, stands tied overnight. Hattie will cross anything you point her at - down trees, steep hills, and puddles. We have even swam her at the local lake! In the arena, she has a classy way about her and aims to please. She will walk, trot, and canter circles collected and on a loose rein. She is traffic Safe, dog safe, stroller safe, and has been exposed to a variety of farm machinery.Hattie has a big stop and is soft and supple in the bridle. She will side pass to the mounting block and stand for you to get on and off as well. This mare is insanely gentle and user friendly. She’s easy to catch, great on the ground and good for the farrier. Show her one day and trail ride her the next, Hattie is a versatile mare who has her whole life ahead of her! We are located in Walkerton IN. She is 100% sound and vet checks are always welcome at buyers expense. She currently is shod, but does not require shoes. Hattie is current on vaccinations, farrier, and dental work. Feel free to reach out to Hope for further questions or setting up a time to see her at 574-279-1810.
