Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Bogard, MO

Denver is a true jack-of-all-trades. He is the kind of guy who will do absolutely anything and do it like he's done it his whole life. Everything he does, he does well, safely, and with so much style. He is like a mullet. You've heard β€œBusiness in the front and party in the back”, right? Well, Denver is business in the tack and goofball in the stall. This horse has the absolute best, silly-goose personality I've ever seen in a horse. You spend 30 seconds with him in the barn, and you won't imagine your life without him. He is the complete package and a testament to what a good, versatile upbringing can turn a horse into. Rope with him, ranch with him, take him to a dressage show, event, hit the trails, or just enjoy his personality on the ground. Anything you choose to do, he will happily do with you. Denver is a registered 2022 Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.2/3 hands tall. Horses like Denver are hard to find. He not only seamlessly crosses over between the western and English disciplines, but he also has the real talent and movement to succeed at the levels in any show pen or arena too. His brain is the best. He handles new places, situations, and spooky things like a professional. He has the tools and flash for a pro to get the most from, yet he is tolerant and safe for the amateur to partner with and enjoy for years to come. Whether your plan is to find a horse you can safely grow with, a show partner, a friend to bond and trail ride with, or do all of the above -- Denver is your man. Under western tack, Denver has all the buttons installed and the versatility to cross over wherever you point him. He circles well, has a nice turnaround, stop, and transitions. He lopes off from a standstill and has great lateral work. He has been started on both the head and heel sides and has been used to pasture-rope calves. He is fun to sort on and is easy to get along with. Under English tack, Denver has three quality gaits, is soft in the bridle, and is ready to step into the dressage ring. He has great lateral work and listens well to leg, seat, and hand cues. He is the right mix of whoa and go, is very adjustable, and enjoys his job. Over fences, Denver is brave and scopey. He is putting together small courses in the ring and has seen all types of fences on the cross-country field. On the trails, Denver loves to explore. He will hop into water, cross roads with traffic, and go wherever you point him. He is fine riding in a group or alone and is easy to load up and go to new places. We have taken him off the property to school, lessons, hunter pace, and trail ride. He hops on and off the trailer easily and is ready to do whatever is asked of him that day. In the barn is where Denver will steal your heart. I don't know if I have ever had a horse that is just so funny to be around. Most horses would shy from tarps, bouncy balls, or other spooky objects when they are loose in the arena, but Denver makes it his mission to play with and toss around anything he can find. He will jump over any set jumps just for fun, and if you toss him the ball, he'll play with you for hours with it. He is a good boy when stalled, and he will have his head out trying to play with your hair, untie knots, and try to be the center of attention if he can manage it. He is happy in turnout and gets along well with mares and geldings in the field. He is, not surprisingly, the first to the gate when it's time to come in, and would probably prefer to live in the house with you if he had the option. ⚫️Denver is an easy keeper that requires no maintenance.
