Draft Gelding for Sale in Bogard, MO

Horses like Goose don't come along often. From his show-stopping looks, to the confidence he instills in his rider, to his natural talent, in just about every discipline we have tried with him. Whether your goals are bringing home blues, honing your skills, or just having a safe and steady friend to trail ride and try new things on, Goose carries himself as if he belongs, and as if he's been there a thousand times before. We truly have been having the time of our lives with him. He is just as fun in lessons in the arena as he is riding double through the fields or out pushing cows. Take him anywhere, do anything, and have a solid and smart partner to enjoy for years to come. Duck Duck Goose is a 5-year-old 15.2-hand draft x paint horse gelding. He is your do-it-all, have-fun (and look good) doing it kind of guy. Goose is the type that makes you excited, not nervous, to try new things, go new places, and jump new heights. In the ring, Goose has a fantastic foundation that makes flatwork enjoyable, and every ride seems like you've accomplished something new. He is so smart and willing, yet tolerant and forgiving for a more amateur rider. Goose has three quality gaits, great transitions, and a soft mouth. He is putting together first-level tests with a great understanding of lateral work. He has his changes, jumps a course, and is very brave on the cross-country field. Goose is very smart on his feet and honest to fences. He’s the perfect mix of whoa and go, having enough motor when asked to do the dressage or eventing job, and is still quiet and gentle enough for a timid or amateur rider to enjoy and learn on. He will also ride under western tack, has a great stop, lopes off, circles well, and uses neck reins. On the trails, Goose is a saddle up and go type. He will ride alone or in a group and is always safe and smart. He crosses bridges, water, and is safe in all kinds of traffic. Goose is a fun, reliable horse, no matter where you take him. Hunter paces, team sorting, and other fun outings are always a blast with him! He is always up for a new adventure! In the barn, Goose is friendly and loves people. He is well behaved and a good boy for all of the usual barn tasks. He is goofy, yet polite, and is always sticking his head out of the stall to see what’s going on. He enjoys being groomed and soaks up attention. Goose is happy living inside or out and gets along well with mares and geldings. ⚫️Goose is an easy keeper that requires no maintenance.
