Rome loves a challenge like skijoring or skillfully navigating steep terrain, as well as simple tasks like checking the fence line by himself. He likes to please and takes new tasks in stride. He will ride in the front, middle, or back. Rome will ride out and gait all day or walk with nice forwardness on a loose rein and snaffle bit. Rome is a classic roan that gleams during the summer months, with a light smoke dusting his rump when he exhibits a full winter coat. His mane and tail are thick and luxurious, even though they are trimmed. His build is exceptional; he has great bone structure and balance, with a very handsome expression and kind eyes. Rome is easy to catch. He stands to be bathed, trimmed, and clipped; he self-loads in the trailer and stands very nicely! Rome is an easy keeper and requires no extra care. He has a quiet, gentle nature and stands patiently. He’s always around guns, motorcycles, power kites, big dogs, wildlife, kids, chainsaws, huge snow-moving equipment, flags, banners, etc. Rome will quickly become your best pal. He is completely content to spend hours in your presence, whether navigating trails, climbing rocky terrain, crossing rivers, or relaxing in the arena. His gaits are perfectly smooth, and he has the stamina and strength to carry you all day. Rome’s gait is beer-drinking smooth and is really fun to cover country. He’s been in lots of different country and is sure-footed. He adjusts his energy to match his rider and is capable of picking up the gait to a medium speed rack. -absolutely no vices. Fully trained in packing, hobbling, high line, bridge crossings, and steep terrain. Knows how to move his forehand, hindend, side pass, and half pass, and has an excellent back.
