Shetland Pony Gelding for Sale in Rogersville, MO
I proudly present Boots, a truly special little pony with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This 11.2hh Registered Bay Pinto Shetland gelding, located in Missouri, has been part of our family—especially for my six-year-old son, who has shared many adventures with him, as you can see in his full video.
Despite his smaller size, he confidently keeps up with much larger horses, joining trail rides and even week-long camping trips. He’s steady, willing, and clearly enjoys being part of the group trail rides.
Boots has participated in parades, strolled through town during Halloween trick-or-treating, and even gone swimming with us. He enjoys being out in the yard watching the kids play around him. Boots thrives in new environments and takes everything in stride, showing his adaptable, easygoing nature.
Boots loves attention and has a wonderful personality. He’s eager to please and knows several fun and useful tricks, including bowing, sitting, and walking over to pick you up at a mounting block. He crosses water confidently, can drive from the ground, picking up his feet is a breeze, and he has given pony rides to other children.
Handling Boots is a breeze—he’s easy to bathe, stands quietly for hoof trimming, and has never required shoes. He’s as low-maintenance as he is lovable. He spends time in the pasture with his mate, grazing on grass. He gets special treats from time to time.
What truly sets Boots apart is his companionship. He’s like having a big dog around. He’s not just a pony—he’s part of the family. He’s entertaining and has been a joy for my son, making him a one-of-a-kind partner and friend.
Boots is being offered for sale as my son transitions to a larger horse. He has played a big role in getting my son started in riding, and now he’s ready to take the next step with a bigger mount.
* Boots will come with Registration papers, Bill of Sale, Vet inspection, Coggins, Saddle, and Tack.
OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 05/06 @ 5:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.
