Red is a super fun, registered Rocky Mountain Horse gelding with a kind, willing personality and an “in-your-pocket” disposition that makes him a barn favorite. He truly enjoys having a job and is happiest when he’s with his person, ready for whatever adventure comes next. Red is an exceptional trail horse with experience across a wide variety of terrain. He has been confidently ridden on the beach, through steep mountain country, and even in busy environments like Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Whether riding in a group or heading out alone, Red is steady, reliable, and comfortable taking either the lead or bringing up the rear. He is equally at home in the show ring, having been successfully shown at numerous gaited horse shows where he consistently places in the ribbons. Red offers a beautifully smooth, natural gait that is easy to sit and enjoyable for long rides. He can travel at a relaxed pace or move out when asked, making him versatile for many types of riders. On the ground, Red is as dependable as they come. He stands quietly tied on a high line for camping, loads and hauls with ease, and is well-mannered for the farrier.
