A gorgeous 6-year-old 14-hand gelding, he is a family favorite trail mount. With his unique coloring, he is sure to get you noticed! He has trail ridden all over, crossed the Chattooga River, camped on a highline, and tackled difficult terrain with mud, creeks, and steep rocks. He has fantastic feet and has never needed shoes, even when riding in the mountains. He has ridden in our local Christmas parade complete with crowds, donkeys, minis pulling carts, and police cars with flashing lights. He is accustomed to riding out with our pack of dogs on the trail and is great with traffic. When riding the roads, he doesn’t mind mailboxes, carriages, large vehicles, emergency vehicles, and all the other potentially spooky things you may find out on the roads. He has a ground covering walk, a smooth foxtrot, and a great canter. On the trail, he likes to step out and can easily keep up with larger horses. He can ride alone or in a group, front, middle, or back. I have used him to leadline my children’s ponies on the trail and have often ridden him double with my younger kids. He has excellent ground manners and ties/loads/stands for the farrier with ease. He loves attention, comes when called, and greets you at the gate. He is dual-registered with MFTHBA and the North American Curly Horse Registry.
