Welsh Pony Gelding for Sale in Oakley, MI
Looking for a cute pony for a beginner? Look no further. Pistol, a 7-year-old, stunning dapple gray Welsh Hackney Pony Cross, has the training to be an enjoyable pony for any small child. His looks stand out, but his friendly, gentle demeanor makes him a pleasure to have around. His experience on the trails, road miles, and throughout our farm makes him a safe and desirable choice. Pistol adjusts well to different riding levels and can either walk the trails or keep up with the big horses. He stands quietly to be saddled, mounted, and bathed. With his calm, collected demeanor, I believe he is an excellent choice for any young rider. Call Laramie for any further questions.

About Oakley, MI
Originally the area was called Mickleville. Philip Mickle, who owned a tavern there in 1842, became the first postmaster of Mickleville on March 12, 1856. That post office was moved to the hamlet of Havana on April 18, 1860, which was two miles southeast of Oakleys present location. In 1868, Andrew Huggins plotted and recorded the village of Oakley and the post office was moved from Havana. It was named for Judge Oakley of Dutchess County, New York, a relative of one of its citizens.
