Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Walkerton, IN
🎲Vegas 🎲
13 year old | grade quarter horse mare|15.2 h
Brown, broke & beautiful- meet Vegas! Ranch branded & very versatile , she came out west where they used her for all aspects of ranch work including branding, sorting & dragging calves. She’s very user friendly - has a soft and supple neck rein, moves off leg pressure,
stands to be mounted and dismounted & is the same horse weather you ride her once a week or once every few months. You won’t have to worry about any “fresh” silliness on a cold day or if you’ve kept her stalled , she saddles and tacks up gentle every day ready to clock in and do whatever job awaits for her. In the arena, Vegas is experienced and levelheaded. Whether it be a beginner or someone wanting to do some fun shows, she will walk, trot, and canter on a loose rein. She knows both leads, has a nice stop, and will not go any faster than asked. She is soft in the bridle, will pivot correctly and even ride bridleless! Outside of the arena, she is well versed in a variety of situations and has absolutely no spook, bolt or hesitation to new things. Crosses creeks willingly, steps over logs carefully and will plod down a trail calm and collected. Vegas is a lovely broke mare who’s a seasoned veteran and would make a great four h type horse, lesson horse, or even a fancy trail mount for the summer! She gets along great in a mixed herd, is an easy keeper and doesn’t require any maintenance. We have stalled her and she has no crib, weave, or anxiety in new places. She has great feet, no scars or blemishes & PPE are always welcome at buyers expense. Located in Walkerton IN. Feel free to reach out to 574-279-1810 for further information.
