"★★ MOUSE ★★
Mouse is one of those rare geldings that checks every box — broke, reliable, versatile, and an absolute pleasure to have in the barn. From his solid training to his unshakable demeanor, he’s the kind of horse you can pull out after time off, saddle up, and go enjoy without a second thought.
This handsome guy has an excellent handle and rides soft in the bridle with a balanced walk, jog, and lope. He moves easily off your leg(definitely more whoah then go😜) neck reins, and has a smooth stop off your seat and voice.
Mouse has a crossover and the start of a side pass, lopes circles, and is working on polishing his flying lead changes.
Mouse also will carry a flag, walk over tarps or let you hang all over him.
Mouse has been exposed to just about everything — traffic, strollers, bikes, runners, dogs, flags, tarps, and cattle work. He’s been used to check fences, push cows, and handle a rope. He crosses water, bridges, and any obstacle you point him toward without hesitation. On the trail or in the arena, he stays steady and focused, making him a dependable partner in any setting. Mouse has also been trail ridden in the mountains and did very well! He saw lots of wildlife and stayed calm and relaxed.
On the ground, Mouse is as personable as they come. He’s the first to greet you at the gate, gets along with every horse in the pasture, and is as easy to handle as he is to ride.
Mouse is the definition of a versatile, broke gelding with a good mind and a willing attitude — the kind you can take in any direction and trust to get the job done.
Come meet this special gelding in person and see why we think so highly of him!! "
About WICHITA FALLS, TX
The Choctaw Native Americans settled the area in the early 19th century from their native Mississippi area once Americans negotiated to relocate them after the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. American settlers arrived in the 1860s to form cattle ranches. The city was officially titled Wichita Falls on September 27, 1876. On that day, a sale of town lots was held at what is now the corner of Seventh and Ohio Streets – the birthplace of the city. The Fort Worth & Denver City Railway arrived in September 1882, the same year the city became the county seat of Wichita County.
