Appaloosa Gelding for Sale in Eatonton, GA
Meet Boomer!
A stunning coming 3yo 15.h Foundation ApHC Gelding.
Boomer has a fantastic disposition. I own his Sire, and I have had Boomer since he was 4 months old. He’s super sweet, snuggly, and easygoing.
He loves the trails, self-loads in the trailer, hauls well, isn’t shaken up by new environments, takes everything in stride, is willing and in tune with the rider, and can still take a joke.
Love, love, love his brain and athleticism. He rides just like his sire.
Has been ridden down the beach and ridden bareback into the surf in a halter.
He has a lovely lope and doesn’t have to ask him twice, whoa. Solid stop.
He’s happy leading, middle, or last on the trail and is great with obstacles.
He has been introduced to moving cows; she’s very naturally drawn to them and comfortable around them.
Side passes, forehand and hindquarter yields, excellent ground manners.
He’s more “woah” than “go,” but happy to go when asked.
Barefoot, super sure-footed, no issues on rough terrain.
UTD on everything, no vices, Health issues, or maintenance.
Canter to you when you call for him in the pasture; he loves people and attention, and turns out great individually or in a group.
Middle of the herd; gets along with everyone.
Perfect for clippers, baths, farrier and vetting.
Stands tied easily.
Comfortable, stalled, and turned out, he’s currently in during the day and out at night.
He was born a solid bay and has continued to color up. He’s genetically 6-panel clear and color-tested; one copy of LP and one copy of Patn1; no grey. It’s all Appaloosa varnish, with dark chocolate chip spots recently appearing on his rump. Super neat.
Tons of beautiful, thick silver mane and tail.
He currently rides 3 days a week; he’s the same if you let him sit for a week and then pull out to ride.
He’s a phenomenal boy. I feel he’d excel in Western dressage, Ranch versatility, Reining, Barrels, and Roping. He has the potential to do well in many different disciplines and then enjoy the trails.
I bought him with the intention of raising him right, starting him, and offering him for sale. He’s a real nice one, has nothing but good times on him, no unknown history, 100% sound, healthy, and ready to enjoy and continue to develop.
